Barbe Bleue / Henry VIII

An illustration for the folk tale Barbe Bleue, by Charles Perrault.

It is said that the tale is inspired on Henry VIII and his six wives, so I have depicted them all together in one coat of arms.

Only Catherine Parr survived him as his wife and thus, she is the one who holds the key.

Wives are portrayed in order of appearance:
Catalina de Aragón, marriage annulment
Anne Boleyn, beheaded for treason
Janne Seymour, died after childbirth
Anne of Cleaves, marriage annulment
Catherine Howard, beheaded for treason
Catherine Parr, survived the King. Died after childbirth to another husband.
